MG Green Energy Sp. z o. o. is a leading developer of photovoltaic projects in Poland, operating on the renewable energy market for 12 years. The company is engaged in the construction of photovoltaic and wind farms, consulting and mediation in the construction and sale of RTB projects.

Currently, in response to the idea of energy transformation aimed at green hydrogen as the fuel of the future and its derivatives, the Company has dynamically started operating in the area of projects focused on the production of green hydrogen and ammonia based on large-scale renewable energy sources in Poland.

The Company’s intention is to build installations located in the Pomeranian and West Pomeranian Voivodeships at a distance of no more than 100 km in a straight line from the Sea Ports

in Police and Gdynia for the production of green hydrogen and ammonia based on electrolysis technology using its own electricity from its PV installations and wind farms.

The electrolysis capacity in both locations (Police and Gdynia) will ultimately amount to 7,200 MW and the entire investment is divided into 5 stages:

Stage I – Electrolysis with a capacity of 400 MW – construction in 2026.

Stage II – Electrolysis with a capacity of 800 MW – construction in 2028.

Stage III – Electrolysis with a capacity of 1,200 MW – construction in 2030.

Stage IV – Electrolysis with a capacity of 2,400 MW – construction in 2032.

Stage V – Electrolysis with a capacity of 2,400 MW – construction in 2034.

After the implementation of the project, the annual production of renewable hydrogen is expected to amount to approximately 1.18 million tons. The cost of the entire investment is estimated by the Company at approximately EUR 50 billion. This amount includes the construction of photovoltaic and wind farms and hydrogen production installations.
