It was in Masłów that St. John Paul II received the honorary title of Świętokrzyskie Mountains guide. “The Świętokrzyskie Mountains are dear to me because they are the land of the Holy Cross. A monument unveiled on the 25th anniversary of the celebration of the holy mass forms today a reminder of this event.
