Świętokrzyskie – a voivodeship that is changing before our eyes, where a centuries-old past and rich history meet with the present and the implementation of great challenges. The result is to be a modern, dynamically developing region.

Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship is a region of unique landscapes, valuable cultural monuments and memorabilia that form the centuries-old history of our lands. It is also our greatest potential – the people, whose aspirations largely determine the region’s development. They are a great challenge for the self-government of the Świętokrzyskie region.

The dynamics of change in the region has been tremendous in recent years – hundreds of kilometres of new, safe roads, modernised health care facilities with state-of-the-art equipment, revitalised city centres, investments in environmental protection, sewage networks and cycle lanes. There are also companies from Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship that are building their economic potential and universities that offer modern forms of education that meet the challenges of the labour market. The region is developing due to EU funds. As we close the 2014-2020 perspective and open the new regional programme European Funds for Świętokrzyskie 2021-2027, we can say without hesitation that EU support is influencing the development of entrepreneurship, innovation, the labour market, healthcare or education in our region. Thanks to EU funds, it is also possible to implement many social projects aimed at the inhabitants. In the coming years, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship self-government will focus above all on supporting entrepreneurship and innovation and environmentally friendly investments. These are the biggest challenges we face and want to meet.
