Kielce University of Technology is the oldest and largest academic university of technology in the region. The university supports the development of entrepreneurship and innovation, but at the same time provides a base of qualified employees for the regional labour market.


Kielce University of Technology forms a research and scientific base for the development of industry in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. More than 136 laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art apparatus allow scientific research and teaching tasks to be conducted at the highest world level. Centre for Laser Technologies of Metals (a joint unit of the University and the Polish Academy of Sciences) is unique in the country It has full facilities for conducting research in the area of laser and plasma technologies.


In 2022, one of the two strategic projects was completed, i.e. the interdisciplinary and innovative Scientific and Implementation Centre for Intelligent Specialisations of the Świętokrzyskie Region – CENWIS.


The newly established Centre, with a value in excess of PLN 85 million, is equipped with the most modern research and development infrastructure in the country and the world, spread across 12 laboratories and 3 workshops. Kielce University of Technology not only supports the development of entrepreneurship and innovation, but also provides a base of qualified employees for the regional labour market. We currently offer studies in 22 faculties and over 60 specialisations.
