Alexis joined Rolls-Royce SMR in 2022 after a 16 year career in the Aerospace & Defence industry. In that time he undertook multiple roles, starting as an Avionics and Mission Systems Engineer in 2006 before completing a secondment at UK Defence Science & Technology Laboratories, after which he transitioned into Business Development. Over 10 years he has undertaken roles in Strategy, International Business Development, Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence. In 2017 Alexis commenced a 3 year secondment with the UK Government, spanning the Department for International Trade, Ministry of Defence and Defence Equipment & Support. He has extensive experience in exports, relationship management, complex sales, prime contracting and partnering with UK and international governments in Europe, the US and Middle East.
